Yesterday Franschhoek came to Cape Town, when the successful Ebony decor and furniture store from Franschhoek opened its branch in Camps Bay. A successful launch party spilled out on to the pavement in excellent weather, and lovely snacks and Franschhoek bubbly were served.
In a tiny space the owners have managed to display a variety of decor items, and some furniture, that are stocked in the Franschhoek store, and will use the internet to show their Cape Town clients what they can offer them.
“EBONY is a unique and exclusive design space that showcases the finest in modern South African furniture, irresistible home accessories as well as a diverse collection of fine South African art. Dewald Prinsloo, Leonard de Villiers and Marc Stanes, dynamic owners of Ebony, conceptualise and design a sophisticated range of bespoke, contemporary South African furniture. Working closely with other leading creative minds from across the country enables EBONY to offer a holistic approach to their clients’ specific needs. Ebony has built strong relationships with world renowned and collectible South African artists whose work can be seen at the EBONY gallery” says the EBONY website.
